Production Assistant - Full/Part Time (Sydney CBD, Australia)

How much do enjoy the thrill of watching a website come to life? Does the idea of being super-organised make you secretly smile? If you want to be part of a team where you get to rise to daily challenges and learn from the best, then you have come to the right place.

At Cornerstone we are in search of someone who knows the online space is about the details, has good all-round office skills and takes every task as a new opportunity. This is the perfect role for someone to get started in the industry with a view to either development or production. Some technical proficiency in Adobe products, Microsoft Office and basic HTML skills would be very highly regarded.

Responsibilities:

  • Image preparation and Quality Assurance testing
  • Content population for eCommerce, static, and Content Management System (CMS) based sites
  • Assisting the Project Manager with day to day tasks
  • General Office duties

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • Can do attitude with an incredible eye for detail
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic knowledge and skills in HTML and CSS would be highly regarded
  • Attitude and potential are more important than experience. We’re a close team and we’re looking for someone who can jive with the rest of us.

Front-end Web Developer (Sydney CBD, Australia)

Are you a front-end web development whiz? Is your web portfolio full of slick, clean, well built sites? Can you think creatively, conquer diverse challenges and solve problems on the fly? Does the thought of working with tightly knit entrepreneurial team sound exciting?  Then we should talk.

Cornerstone is looking for someone who can see the big picture behind all the coding.  We’re a growing company full of people passionate about making the internet a better place and we need a front-end web developer who is ready for anything. You’ll be responsible for developing user interfaces using XHTML, CSS and jQuery. Many of the sites will be CMS or eCommerce driven.

Responsibilities:

  • Building slick sites that our designers create
  • Working with back-end developers to integrate interfaces with back-end systems
  • Helping out our clients with training and support

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • You need to be a driven, resourceful and adaptable individual. You’ll need to be able to build strong relationships with clients, problem solve and pay a lot of attention to detail
  • We’d like to see two years front-end web development experience
  • An ability to hand code XHTML & CSS is crucial
  • A good knowledge of usability principles and jQuery is required
  • Knowledge in JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, ASP or PHP would be beneficial
  • Attitude and potential are more important than experience. We’re a close team and we’re looking for someone who can jive with the rest of us.

Online Marketing Consultant - SEO/SEM (Sydney CBD, Australia)

Ever wondered what makes Google tick? Do you know Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Myspace like the back of your hand? Do you like diverse challenges and doing something a little bit different every day? Perhaps you’re already an SEO expert, used to staying on top of the latest changes and developments in this dynamic and growing field.

We’re looking for someone interested in diving into the fast paced world of online marketing. To fit in, you’ll need to be more than a tech nerd. We need business-minded individuals who can problem solve creatively, speak in plain English and build relationships with clients that go beyond a screen and keyboard. We want fast, self-motivated learners or experienced web veterans interested in helping our clients succeed online. 

Responsibilities:

  • Helping sites get found online. You’ll research the competition, then  optimise and promote our client’s websites to help bring in relevant traffic and increase leads
  • Tracking your progress. Every month you’ll be responsible for letting our clients know how their campaigns are performing
  • Helping to write interesting and relevant content for client websites
  • Spreading the word online through social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Blogs and more
  • Staying relevant. We need you to keep on top of the latest developments and trends. The web changes every day and we need to change right along with it!

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • If you’ve got SEO and SEM experience, that’s great - but not a must for the right person
  • Excellent written communication skills are an absolute must
  • You’ll need to pay a lot of attention to detail
  • Potential and attitude go a long way. We need someone keen to learn who fits in with our tightly knit team
